Music Lessons

Whether you’re someone looking to take your first steps toward learning a new instrument, someone with some experience looking to take their knowledge to the next level, or in need of a crash course or refresher on braille music, you’ve come to the right place!

I have nearly fifteen years of firsthand experience as a performing and recording musician, and two years of experience teaching piano, guitar, and music literacy at various levels. Having experienced the teacher-student relationship from both sides through CoachArt, a nonprofit organization which provides free arts and athletics education to families with children impacted by chronic illnesses, I have developed an approach toward teaching that focuses on inclusivity, self expression, and most importantly, the idea that the best learning is done when having fun!

I currently offer lessons in piano and guitar from the beginner to intermediate level, and can also provide tutoring for students looking to study music theory or become literate in reading braille music, as well as consultations for instructors interested in learning more about braille music for blind or visually impaired students.

Finally, as someone who grew up knowing all too well how difficult it could be to find affordable music lessons, I strive to provide the best bang for your buck. Individual private lessons begin at $15 per half hour lesson. If you are just starting out and decide to take lessons with me, I can also provide, free of charge, guidance on finding the right instrument within your budget to ensure you get the best learning experience possible.
